MST School
The educational center started in 2011 when its founders Cesar and Carol along with their family felt the need to support the women who were working in the garbage dump at Chimaltenango, Guatemala. We started to teach them how to read and write. Then we realized that their children were not studying because they did not have the financial resources to study, even from the government.
That is why the need arised for a school with free education for these families who needed educational support.
MISSION
The educational center with Christian values was started as a result of the need of children, teenagers, youth and adults from the Chimaltenango community, who are in marginalized areas and in extreme poverty; with the goal of supporting them in their academic and spiritual development.
VISION
Children and adolescents trained with spiritual and academic excellence, to become good professionals, disciples of Jesus Christ and future leaders who will impact society with their life change, applying the word of God that is said in 2 Corinthians 5:17.
ABOUT US
The school was created with the purpose of supporting children in extreme poverty, illness, orphans, social prevention and whose families need to work in the Chimaltenango's garbage dump. We started with 45 students and now currently we have 330 from Kindergarten to High school, with different types of scholarships according to their needs.
