“My Special Treasure” is a Christian ministry founded in December of 2008 at Chimaltenango-Guatemala by Carol and Cesar Lopez, following a strong call from the Lord Jesus Christ to make a difference in the lives of high-risk children living in poverty on the streets.  Wanting to be a part of the solution, they decided to demonstrate the love of God to these children by providing them with a safe home and a place to educate them in the areas of culture, spirituality, and health.
